On Sunday, the 31st of October 2021, the Tasnim Scouts Association in cooperation with the Basrah College of Medicine, started a campaign of the World Afforestation Day to restore and rehabilitate the  college    gardens.
This is considered a national day for afforestation in which all the people participate.The first year of the campaign was limited to university students, as more than 50 colleges and universities participated.Its aim is the moral and human motivation to create and establish the principles of afforestation and teamwork to eliminate desertification, increase the beauty of our colleges and cities, and develop the principles of patriotism, as change begins by the youth.
The campaign was a spontaneous student campaign that based on cooperation and lack of dependence on others.
