The College of Medicine at the University of Basra organized a scientific symposium in cooperation with the Office of Mental Health entitled updates in Psychiatry. The symposium discussed several topics, including the opinion of Islamic law in sexual disorders, treatment of depression, drugs addiction, the role of nuclear medicine in dementia, psychological treatment for children, treatment of psychological and physical stress, narcissistic personality disorder and the use of brain stimulation in the treatment of depression.
