On Sunday, November 21, 2021, Basrah College of Medicine honored the student, Mustafa Furat Shani, who excelled first in the college and first in internal medicine for this year. He was honored by the Head of the Medical Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdul-Bari Abdul-Hamid, with the medicine department shield for the first outstanding student with a token gift for his excellence in the medicine department and for being the first student at the College of Medicine, University of Basrah.
