On Wednesday, December 29, 2021, the University of Basrah organized the first annual career Day event under the slogan “Be creative to find a better job” under the patronage of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and with the participation of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Mortada Muhammad Salih Al-Musafir, and the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Qais  Kazem Baqer and the Quality Officer, which was held in the Marla Hall in the complex of Bab Al-Zubair colleges and in the presence of the deans. Prof. Dr. Saad Shahin Hammadi, President of Basrah University, said that this day provides an opportunity for institutions to attract distinguished and qualified graduates from various disciplines to settle their vacancies, The University of Basrah is proud of its graduates and their distinguished level, and the competencies they possess that increase their ability to compete, create and actively contribute to building the nation.
