The College of Medicine at the University of Basrah held a graduation ceremony for the graduate students for the academic year 2020-2021 with the ceremony of repeating the medical section in the presence of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the Basrah Doctors Syndicate, Dr. Wissam Muhammad Ali Al-Rudaini, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Zahra, Prof. Mazen Al-Hawaz, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Murtada Muhammad Salih Al-Musafir on Tuesday 1/2/2020, which is held annually by the college to repeat the medical section for graduate students, session 54. A group of college professors, dean assistants and heads of scientific departmentes in the college also participated in the ceremony, in the presence of the families of graduate students. Where the performance ceremonies began by welcoming the audience, a fragrant recitation of verses from the wise Quran, the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah to the souls of the martyrs of the medical family and Iraq, and the chanting of the national anthem. Al-Zahra, who praised the history and traditions of the ancient college, the teaching staff, and the students at the college. The ceremony also witnessed the distribution of gifts and honoring of the first students at the college.
