A teacher from the College of Medicine, University of Basrah, lectures in a workshop on hemorrhagic fever in the Crimea and the Congo in Iraq

Lecturer at the College of Medicine, University of Basrah - a member of the Iraqi Inventors Association, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Idan Al-Simary, in a workshop on hemorrhagic fever in Crimea and Congo in Iraq, which is held by the Development Rehabilitation Academy and sponsored by the International Friendship Organization on Sunday 5-6-2022. The workshop aims to introduce the dangers, causes and spread of hemorrhagic fever in Iraq and the world. The workshop recommended the need to take caution in dealing with unsanctioned slaughterhouses and wear paws when handling meat to control the vector such as ticks and mosquitoes by spraying pesticides while avoiding contact with infected animals such as sheep, cows, cats, dogs, mice, rats and rabbits, in addition to avoiding dealing with fluids and remnants of animal skin after Slaughtering due to the possibility of infection with the virus, with the necessity of holding awareness seminars and reporting suspected cases.
