The President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, attended the activities of the conference "Risk and Challenges of the Spread of abusive Drugs and Addiction in Iraq", which was held by the Iraqi Society for Research and Studies on Friday The conference recommended important practical scientific recommendations to diagnose a clear path for all authorities on how to deal with the escalating issue of abusive drug  and addiction that were broadcast to those present and circulated to all media.
