The college  of Medicine, University of Basrah, hosted the chess championship between four colleges , that is  Basra medical College and Al-Zahraa medical college , the college of Engineering, and the college of Education on Monday, 5/12/22, where Basra college of Medicine and Al-Zahraa college of Medicine won the first place equally, and the second place went to the Faculty of Education and the third place went to The college of Engineering .the championship was supervised by the Deanship of the Faculty of Medicine represented by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Kazem Baqer, and the Student Activity Unit at the college .
