President Abdullatif Rashid visited the presidency of the University of Basrah on Wednesday 7 / 12 / 2022 as part of his tour in  the province, where he praised the university's history and sober academic reputation. The President of the Republic also met with the President of the University and all the members of the Council, and was briefed on the progress of the university's work and the tasks it performs. The President also praised the efforts exerted by the University of Basra and their keenness and dedication in performing their duties and assuming responsibility with all sincerity and professionalism.
