The temporary contact employees of the college of Medicine university of Basra have  organized  a celebration ceremony on the occasion of their assignment to the permanent staff after spending many years serving the university as temporary staff . The ceremony was attended by the President of the University of Basrah Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi,.the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Murtaza Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, and Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs Assistant Professor Dr. Nofal Ali Mubarak. The ceremony began by reading Al-Fatiha Qur’an verse   to honour the memory of the deceased contract employees before transferring them to the permanent staff, the employee Zaid Ahmed and the employee Ali Tariq. The President of the University also gave a speech in which he praised the efforts made by temporary staff in serving the university, wishing continued seriousness, diligence and dedication to work to improve the college and the university for the better.

At the end of the ceremony, the honorary shields were distributed by the temporary   staff to the President of the University, the Dean of the college of Medicine, assistant dean , the official  of Wages and Contracts at the University of Basra, Ibtihaj Zaki and the Director of Human Resources at the College,Mrs Afra Farid as a symbol of thanks gratitude and appreciation for the efforts exerted by them and for the continuous endeavor with the ministry to assign them to the permanent staff .
