The college  of Medicine / University of Basrah held the distinguished College Council on Tuesday, 7/3/2023 under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, and the assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Kazem Baqer, in the presence of all members of the Council. During the meeting, important topics were discussed, including scientific research plans, a guidebook and exams, as well as discussing the cases of multiple students, teachers affairs and many other things in the college. A lecture on accreditation was also held in the college council, and the need to complete the accreditation requirements was emphasised through the National Accreditation Council for medical schools in Iraq .
