THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAh was chosen AS ONE OF THE BEST UNIVERSITIES IN  woelrkd according to THE WORLD'S UNIVERSITIES REAL IMPACT (WURI ) where 

The University of Basrah was ranked among the top 100 universities in the world in the South Korean Ranking system (WURI) for 2023, which was called the classification of universities of the world with real and influential ranking according to the creative universities program.

The President of the University, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, was invited to deliver the university's achievements electronically on the 16th of this month at the conference, which will be held in Florida, United States of America, in which the first universities will be announced, knowing that only 17 universities have been invited to the conference among 6 axes, and the University of Basrah was  was one of the three winning international universities in the Crisis Management axis.
