Eight iraqi universities achieved high rankings in the Times Ranking of Asian Universities

Eight Iraqi universities achieved important competitive positions in the Times Asian University Rankings 2023.

Official results included ( https://www.timeshighereducation.com/world-university-rankings/2023/regional-ranking#! /length/25/locations/IRQ/sort_by/rank/sort_order/asc/cols/stats) evaluated six hundred and sixty-nine universities from thirty-one countries, including Iraq, where the University of Babylon came in 199th place, then the University of Technology in 251-300, followed by Anbar University in 301-

It is worth mentioning that the Times Ranking of Asian Universities evaluates universities according to 5 basic criteria: education 25%, 30% scientific research, 30% quotations, international outlook 7.5% and knowledge transfer 7.5%.

It is worth mentioning that Iraqi universities and colleges are recording their increasing competition in the international classifications, including the Shanghai Ranking of Academic Subjects classification, in which the University of Baghdad appeared within the specialisation of chemical engineering, the Times classification, in which there are eight universities, the (QS) classification in which there are five universities, the (Greenmetric) classification, in which Seventy-three Iraqi universities and colleges and the URA classification, in which there are four Iraqi universities, and the Webometrics classification is added to it, which recorded the attendance and competition of more than one hundred Iraqi universities and colleges.
