On Tuesday, 4/7/2023, the college of Medicine  University of Basra held a meeting chaired by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mortada Mohammed Saleh, and in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Kazim Baqer, and the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Khattar

To discuss the college's plan for the topics and courses of graduation research and review the bases  on which the degree and units were given . For his part, the Dean directed to be precise in auditing and completing grades, preparing reports on success rates according to grades and study materials and implementing the directives of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi He also directed the need to complete the results and announce them after obtaining the confirmations and praised during the meeting the efforts made in following up the completion of the results within their specified times. During the meeting, he also directed to complete the transactions of students applying to the study in Iraq program. The meeting was attended by the Rapporteur of the Council of the college of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Kazem Ajlan, and the heads of clinical departments , Prof. Dr. Ali Rahim, Head of the Medical department , Assistant Professor Dr. Aida Abdul Karim, Head of the paediatrics  department , Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Shani, Head of the Surgery department And Assistant Professor Dr. Zainab Tariq from the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department , as well as the presence of the Chairman of the Examination Committee, Assistant Professor Dr. Jawad Al-Bazoni, Prof. Dr. Jawad Hassan Ahmed, and Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohammed Salman.

The meeting concluded by confirming the directives, following up on their implementation, matching the lists of  the sixth stage, and nominating distinguished research for the purpose of participating in the students' conference.
