A study to obtain a higher diploma at the College of Medicine, University of Basra, discussed the risk factors that lead to congenital anomalies in fetuses for student Amani Emad. The research aims to identify the most common risk factors responsible for the occurrence of congenital anomalies in the fetus. The research concluded that the factors leading to congenital anomalies are the advancement of the mother’s age, consanguineous marriage, and congenital anomalies in the mother’s disease history.
