A study to obtain a higher diploma at the College of Medicine, Basra University, discussed the effect of delaying the umbilical cord disc surgery on the maternal blood and postpartum hemorrhage in cesarean section by the student Duaa Sadiq. The research aims to demonstrate the effect of the umbilical cord disc on the hemoglobin level in the blood of mothers after cesarean delivery. The researcher concluded that delaying the umbilical cord disc does not affect the mother’s blood rate after cesarean delivery and does not increase the risk of uterine bleeding.
