The Dean of the college of Medicine, University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, participated in the 43rd Conference of the International urology society in the Republic of Turkey

(43rd Congress of Société Internationale d'Urologie). Which was held for the period 11 _ 14 / 10 / 2023 in Istanbul - Istanbul conferences Center and in conjunction with the 32nd National congress of the Turkish Urological Association

Almusafer  gave a scientific lecture within one of the courses on the endoscopic surgery of renal stones. The course was headed by Dr. Athanasius Papturis from the Greek Republic and with the help of Dr. Mohamed Moussa, a specialist in urology and the Dean of the college of Medicine at the Lebanese University.

Other lecturers from the Republic of Greece and the State of Kuwait participated  also in the course.

On the sidelines of the conference, the Dean chaired one of the scientific sessions at the 32nd National congress of urology of the Turkish Urological Association, where the latest scientific developments in the treatment of urological diseases were presented and information exchanged with a number of specialists from different countries of the world.

The Dean  also met with Dr. Abbas Bassiri from Shaheed Labavi Hospital in the Islamic Republic of Iran and reviewed the latest medical techniques for urology. The latest developments in the treatment of urology were discussed in addition to strengthening of cooperation frameworks in this specialty.
