The college of Medicine University of Basra organized a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people to express the solidarity of the Iraqi people with the Palestinian cause.

The stand, in which the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Kazem Baqer, the college's students, teachers and employees participated, included raising Palestinian flags, dedicating  Surat Al-Fatihah to the souls of the martyrs of Al-Aqsa and readi verses from the Holy Quran.

The Dean of the College stressed that the Iraqi people's stand with the Palestinian people and their pride in the victories of the Palestinian resistance and its heroes who embodied the finest images of heroism and steadfastness, calling on the international community to assume its responsibility for the crimes committed by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people, and to support its right to liberate its land.
