The team of the college of Medicine University of Basra for table tennis won the first place in the university championship.

The official of the Sports Activities Division, Dr. Qusay Al-Derawi, said that the final match was held on the hall of Al-Zahra Medical College, which resulted in the victory of the college of Medicine team with the title, beating the college of Dentistry team by two points to zero.

He explained that the third place was held by the college of Education for Human Sciences and the college of Engineering.

The college  also took second place in the female tournament.
