The college of Medicine University of Basrah held a graduation ceremony for graduate students of the academic year 2022_ 2023 with the performance of the medical oath in the presence of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the President of Basrah Doctors Syndicate Dr. Wissam Mohammed Ali Al-Redini and the Director General of the Basrah Health Department Dr. Abbas Khalaf Al-Tamimi

The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, explained that this 55th batch bears the name of (the advancement and construction course) and that this celebration is held by the college annually to perform the medical oath by the graduate students.

A group of college professors, assistants of the dean and heads of scientific branches in the college also participated in the ceremony. Where the performance ceremonies began by welcoming the audience, reciting fragrant verses from the Holy Quran, reading Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs, and chanting the national anthem.

The ceremony also included welcoming speeches from the President of the University, the Director General of the Basrah Health Department,the President of Basrah Doctors Syndicate and the Dean of the College, which they praised the history and traditions of the college and the teaching staff and students of the college. Where the Faculty of Medicine was keen to graduate doctors of trustees and scientists to serve the community.
