The Dean of the College  Medicine, university of Basra Dr. Mortada Mohammed Saleh,Al-Mosafer , accompanied by the President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen, the Director of the Student Activities Department, Prof. Dr. Qusay Al-Dirawi, and a group of professors and students of the college from the sixth stage, visited Jafar Al-Tayyar Hospital for the wounded of the popular crowd.

The visit aims to provide moral and logistical support and root the bonds of joint cooperation.

In the visit, the Horticulture Division at the University of Basra was assigned to plant the land and gardens adjacent to the hospital. The President of the University also ordered the maintenance of the air conditioning devices on site. The site manager also provided some halls for the University of Basra to be used by the Deanship of the College of Medicine for the current academic year and the coming years.

The President of the University and the Dean of the college of Medicine expressed their thanks and appreciation to the hospital's employees for the warm reception.
