A paper by the Arab Board at the College of Medicine at Basra University discussed the use of physicians specializing in family medicine science in Basra Governorate and their job convictions.  The research presented by the student Rana Kazem Ali aims to know the tasks that have been entrusted to the Iraqi and Arab Council fellowship holders in the field of family medicine, as well as to know the extent of their conviction in the work they perform.  The research concluded that family doctors in Basra enjoy good conviction in their competence in performing tasks and in supervisory performance and inter-relations with colleagues and beneficiaries, but they complain about insufficient work requirements, low incomes and an environment that is not conducive to their specializations. The research recommended increasing community awareness and introducing family medicine using the media.  Raise the level of the monthly wage of family doctors to encourage them and open training opportunities to develop their performance and capabilities and improve working conditions in the centers and places where they work.
