The college of Medicine at the University of Basrah held a scientific symposium on the foundations and methods of the interactive lecture, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Kazim Baqer, the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Khatar Musa, and a number of faculty members.

Prof. Dr. Salman Kazem Ajlan stated that the symposium aims to introduce the interactive lecture, explain its foundations and review its methods.

The symposium recommended the need for faculty members to develop their scientific lectures and make them interactive, where the teacher can use appropriate scientific methods that make the scientific lecture interactive and achieve the scientific goals set for the lecture.

And the need for classrooms and laboratories to meet the technical needs required for interactive lectures. The importance of preparing development courses periodically for teaching staff, especially new teachers in the field of teaching and methods of providing lectures, especially interactive lectures and effective education.
