The College of Medicine at the University of Basrah participates in the University of Basrah’s celebration of its sixtieth anniversary

 The College of Medicine at the University of Basrah participated in the University of Basrah’s celebration of its sixtieth anniversary.
 The celebration was attended by a large gathering of academics, associates, and students, as well as officials from government departments in Basrah, professional unions, and the Governor of Basrah, Engineer Asaad Al-Eidani.
 The ceremony included a speech by the University President, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Assadi, in which he noted the important educational and humanitarian role that the university plays in the visual community.  He thanked everyone who founded, contributed and thought about building this great scientific edifice.

 

 The founding ceremony witnessed the honoring of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, for his important role in improving the College of Medicine and advancing it to reach advanced ranks.
  Professor Dr. Nofal Ali Mubarak was also honored for his distinguished efforts in serving the university and providing assistance in providing medical assistance.

 Assistant Professor Dr. Kholoud Abdel Hassan Al-Salmi, head of the Quality Division at the college, was honored for her efforts in getting the college third place among medical colleges in Iraq within the Iraqi classification.
