The College of Medicine at the University of Basrah held a meeting on preparation for the final exams for the academic year 2023-2024, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, the Rapporteur of the College Council, the officials of the Registration Unit, Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, the Examination Committee, the Human Resources Officer, and the Official of the Media and Government Communications Division.  The Dean directed the formation of a committee for maintaining the examination halls and recommended the need to follow up in terms of cleanliness, civil defense, and preparing the infrastructure to maintain the safety of the institution and students during exams.  He also stressed the need to pay attention to the scientific aspect in terms of questions by developing educational matters and making the questions diverse, and urged students to be aware of the dangers of cheating during exams and its negative effects on students.
 The importance of exam IDs during exams was emphasized as they are an important identification identity for the student and the necessity of adhering to the uniform on campus and for exams inside the halls and through follow-up, guidance and following the necessary laws related to that.
