The College of Medicine, University of Basrah, held a ceremony for the recitation of the medical oath for graduating students for the academic year 2023_2024 in the presence of the President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim, the President of the Basra Doctors Syndicate, Dr. Wissam Muhammad Ali Al-Radini, the Assistant Director General of the Basra Health Department, Dr. Nihad Qasim, and the Director of the Department of Media and Government Communication, Dr. Haider Abdul Amir, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, on Sunday 10/27/2024. Which the college holds annually to recite the medical oath for graduating students, the 52nd session. A group of college professors, assistants to the dean, and heads of scientific branches in the college also participated in the ceremony, in the presence of the families of the graduating students.  The ceremony began with welcoming the attendees and reciting verses from the Holy Quran, reciting Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of the medical family and Iraq, and singing the national anthem. The ceremony also included welcoming speeches by the university president, the president of Basra Doctors Syndicate, and the dean of the Basra College of Medicine, which praised the history and traditions of the distinguished college, the teaching staff, and the college students, as the College of Medicine was keen to graduate honest, knowledgeable doctors to serve the community
