The lecturer at the University of Basrah ,College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Abdul Majeed Hussein, participated as a member of the scientific committee in the International Conference of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Life Sciences / Al-Qurna, held during the period from December 25 to 26, 2024. He also participated in presenting a research paper entitled Exploring the link between Vitamin D levels and bone health: insight into osteopenia and osteoporosis among postmenopausal women in Basrah, Iraq. The research discussed the existence of a close and positive correlation with the rate of low vitamin D levels in women with osteoporosis, especially after menopause, and its impact on bone health and density for different age groups.
