The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, honored three female students from the University of Basrah - College of Medicine (Hamsa Aras Muhammad, Banin Adnan Ashour and Taiba Muhammad Rayhan) as part of the National Day of the Holy Quran celebration that organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in the presence of University presidents, deans of colleges, representatives of colleges members and students that regitered through the  holy-Quran Channel of undergraduate University studies.
The celebration included official speaches, Arabic calligraphy exhibition, honoring of holy-Quran readers and students regitered through the holy-Quran Channel in Iraqi Universities.
Finally, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research directed for establishing a new channel to accept holy-Quran readers in postgraduate studies.
