The Dean of the University of Basrah - College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Prof. Dr. Alaa Khattar Musa, conducted a visit to Teaching hospitals (including Al-Faihaa Teaching Hospital and Al-Sayyab Teaching Hospital) in Basrah Governorate on Monday the 3th. of February 2025. The visit was very useful where discussions and cooperation  with the Manager of the Basrah Health Directorate, Consultant Dr. Abbas Khalaf Al-Tamimi, and the managers of the other hospitals, and that indicates the extent of cooperation and support between the Deanship of the University of Basrah - College of Medicine and the Basrah Health Directorate, represented by Dr. Abbas Al-Tamimi, and his support to the College of Medicine at all levels, which greatly facilitated the coverage of clinical and theoretical curricula, manage the huge numbers of students, and the support of the academic process to develop the practical level of students of the University of Basrah- College of Medicine. These good efforts resulted in obtaining accreditation from the International Accreditation Council.
