The University of Basrah - College of Medicine received a delegation from the University of Sumer - College of Medicine in Thi -Qar Governorate. They were welcomed by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Prof. Dr. Alaa Khattar Musa, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Jassim Muhammad Salman. They were briefed on the Basrah College of Medicine after obtaining accreditation and benefiting from their experience, in addition they learned the teaching method, the distribution of credits, and the four clinical department that that responsible for teaching sixth-year students, in order to improve the teaching of students at Sumer University, as it is a newly established University. In addition they discussed accreditation topics and the important points for obtaining accreditation.
