The medical students' team at the University of Basrah met the medical graduates' team in the Ramadan matches of the Sheikh of Surgeons Dr. Hashim Al-Khayat Championship. The tournament was sponsored by the President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim Al-Asadi, and supervised by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, in cooperation with the ‏Medical association. The matches were held at the College of Medicine stadium in the presence of the President of the  ‏Medical association in Basrah, Dr. Wissam Al-Radini. The medical students' team defeated the medical graduates' team with a score of 8-6. In the second match, the team met the Abu Al-Khaseeb Hospital team, which defeated its counterpart, the Republican Hospital team, with a score of 3-2. The matches were characterized by outstanding performances by the participating teams in the tournament and high sportsmanship. These matches aim to enhance interaction and cooperation between students and graduates in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and fun.
