The University of Basrah at the College of Medicine organized a voluntary campaign to plant trees and clean the college gardens. In cooperation with the Student Activities Unit and the Agriculture Unit at the college, the campaign aims to increase green spaces and provide a suitable climate and environment for students. A number of spaces were planted with evergreen grass and the gardens were decorated with flowers and trees that are resistant to environmental conditions and high temperatures in the summer. The campaign included planting many seedlings of various varieties. A number of students and staff also participated in the campaign.
