A board research  at the University of Basrah ,College of Medicine, discusses the effectiveness of ultrasound in diagnosing fatty liver disease and cirrhosis compared to the Fibroscan. The research, presented by student Nashwan Nawfal Najm, aims to determine the ability of ultrasound in detecting and classifying fatty liver compared to the Fibroscan as a reference method. We also evaluate markers of liver fibrosis using ultrasound and correlate them with the Fibroscan results. The A board research  concludes that ultrasound can be used for early detection of fatty liver degeneration to assist in timely intervention to mitigate the adverse outcomes associated with fatty liver disease.
