The University of Basrah - the College of Medicine Council held its sixteenth session, supervised by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, and attended by all members of the Council and the Dean's Assistants. The session began with a welcoming speech by the Dean, who extended condolences on the occasion of Ashura. The meeting  then proceeded with the presentation of the deans directives. The session discussed several topics, including a review of the final examination reports and consideration of the students requesting to postponed the first-semester exams within the undergraduate studies affairs. Regarding postgraduate studies, the awarding of a Master's degree in Biochemistry was approved, as well as the establishment of a discussion committee in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. The necessity of adhering to administrative and academic duties by all college members and employees during the summer vacation was emphasized. The Council also reviewed future plans and projects scheduled to be established within the framework of developing the infrastructure and educational process in the College.
