




The Dean of the University of Basrah - College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, met the Students of the Iraqi Board for Medical Specializations Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the Basrah Training Center, in the presence of Prof.Dr. Jassim Mohammed Salman, the Director of the Training Center. The meeting was devoted to discussing a number of scientific and training issues of interest to the students. The Dean listened to their suggestions regarding the nature of practical training, study curricula, and the challenges they face in their academic and professional careers. During the meeting, the Dean emphasized the College Deanship's commitment to supporting postgraduate students and providing them with an appropriate educational environment, praising their role in developing health services and raising the efficiency of medical performance in health institutions. For his part, Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohammed Salman commended the students' efforts and stressed that the Center's will continue the academic and practical support. At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to study the proposed suggestions and work to overcome the obstacles facing the students to achieve the desired educational and training goals. The meeting also discussed the ongoing preparations at the Basrah Training Center and the College of Medicine for the Arbaeen visiting season of Imam Hussein. The Dean emphasized the need for full preparations to deal with potential emergencies and provide the best health services to visitors, in coordination with Health Departments and relevant authorities. He emphasized the importance of the participation of Iraqi Board students in these efforts, given its significant role in enhancing their field skills and instilling human and professional values
