The University of Basrah -College of Medicine hosted a workshop on the Iraqi University Rankings and an overview of the Academic Departments' Performance Score Form. The workshop was held by the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at the University of Basrah Presidency. The workshop aimed to discuss points related to the national ranking of the University of Basrah, colleges, and departments, as well as methods for improving and evaluating performance. The workshop also addressed the topics on the basis of which universities and colleges are evaluated, and then discussed solutions that would raise the university's ranking in line with the University of Basrah's long history and authenticity. It is worth noting that the Iraqi University Rankings contribute to enhancing competition among universities and improving their performance, which leads to improving the quality of higher education in Iraq.
