The conference was held under the slogan (A Promising Generation with Pioneering Research) under the patronage of the President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, and in the presence of the President of the Doctors Syndicate, Dr. Wissam Al-Radini, and the assistants. In cooperation with the Student Activities Unit and the Medical Education Unit, the conference aimed to present and discuss graduation research of sixth-year students, highlight students’ research creativity, and encourage them to develop their scientific and research skills, as well as raise the quality of scientific research and enhance the research environment within the college. The conference witnessed wide participation from professors, students, and researchers, and a group of distinguished research papers were discussed that addressed various medical and scientific topics, reflecting the advanced academic level of students and their role in serving the medical community. The research papers were presented and discussed in detail, and appropriate recommendations and analyses were provided for their development. The conference also seeks to promote a culture of scientific research and encourage students to explore various medical topics.
