Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, and under the supervision of the Student Activities Division, the "Tafakkar" Student Club at the College of Medicine, University of Basrah, launched its first-of-its-kind intellectual and cultural competition at the College of Medicine, entitled the "Tafakkar Competition."
The competition included a set of questions inspired by articles from Tafakkar magazine—one of the club's distinguished intellectual activities—available alongside the club's libraries distributed throughout the campus corridors.
This competition comes within the framework of the club's activities aimed at creating a refined cognitive, intellectual, and cultural atmosphere among the college's students, contributing to spreading the culture of dialogue and exchanging opinions and ideas, ultimately leading to building a generation of student leaders capable of advancing society and the nation.
The competition witnessed active attendance and widespread engagement from students, who expressed their admiration and appreciation for the club and its diverse intellectual initiatives.
It is worth noting that the competition will continue until next Thursday, corresponding to October 16, 2025, with special and valuable prizes awarded to the top winners.
