The visiting physician, Pediatric Orthopedic Consultant Professor David Spiegel from the United States of America, visited the College of Medicine at the University of Basrah, where he was warmly received by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Nofal Ali Al-Mubarak.
During the visit, the visiting physician delivered a lecture to fifth-year medical students at the University of Basrah on pediatric osteomyelitis, in the presence and participation of the Dean, Professor Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, and the Associate Deans. This visit comes within the framework of scientific and medical cooperation between Iraqi and international universities, as well as enhancing medical and surgical knowledge among doctors and students.
It is worth noting that the lecture aimed to enhance medical knowledge and provide students and doctors with up-to-date information on pediatric osteomyelitis, as well as to exchange expertise in order to promote scientific and cultural exchange between Iraqi and foreign universities. Such lectures contribute to improving pediatric healthcare in Iraq by providing modern medical knowledge and skills.
The visiting professor also visited the college's classrooms and scientific laboratories.
