The Deanship of the College of Medicine at the University of Basrah, represented by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Alaa Khattar Mussa, and the Associate Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Khadija Sami Madi, held a meeting with the students.
During the meeting, the Deanship emphasized the importance of regular attendance and adherence to academic regulations, highlighting their direct impact on improving academic achievement and fostering a disciplined university character.
The Deanship also stressed that frequent unexcused absences constitute a violation of university regulations urging students to make effective use of their time in acquiring knowledge and actively participating in lectures and academic activities
