The Deanship of the College of Medicine of Basrah honored two teaching staff in its development of surgery on the occasion of their obtaining the fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons - Glasgow in the United Kingdom, where the Deanship highly valued the efforts made by them to raise the scientific and academic level in service of the College of Medicine and the University of Basra.
 The honors included the consultant gastroenterologist, Assistant Professor Dr. Noori Hanon, and the consultant of pediatric and neonatal surgery, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Abdulzahra Alhasani.
