A PhD thesis at the College of Medicine, University of Basra, studied the level of magnesium in children with asthma in Basra Women’s and Children's Hospital

A doctoral thesis at the College of Medicine -Basra University discussed the level of magnesium in children with asthma at Basrah Women's and Children's Hospital. The thesis presented by student Ihssan Abdul Nabi Ismail aims to measure the magnesium level in children with asthma and compare it with healthy children and with signs or severity of asthma. The thesis concluded that magnesium is more controlled in children with severe asthmatic attacks than in healthy children. The thesis recommended that the magnesium should be measured periodically for children with asthma.
