The second-year students in the University of Basrah - College of Medicine under the direct supervision of the Deanship of the College, held a summer course for their colleagues of the first-year students, which includes clarification of the basic scientific subjects of the second-year, based on what was presented by college members and the approved resources of the College of Medicine. This was presented within one of the college halls (101), during a specific time period started on 29th. of August 2021 and will end on the First of October 2021, two-days per week. It is also emphasized on the necessity of applying national health and safety directives, such as social distancing, wearing masks, providing sterilizers, and avoiding crowdedness. The Deanship of the College of Medicine supports any student scientific activity aimed at promoting and developing the educational sciences in the college, which achieves reaching the desired goals, and reduces the burden on the teaching board, and the consolidation of scientific cooperation between students and the deanship, and students sense of the college’s concern for them and treating them as their own children, in order to achieve a bright future that serves the country.
