The College of Medicine , University of Basra, under the patronage of the President of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ismail Al-Hamdi, and the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mortada Muhammad Saleh Al-Musafir, organized a workshop on quality assurance. The President of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and Director of the Quality Assurance Division at Basra University, Prof. Dr. Kazem Abdul-Wahab, attended the workshop. The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine, the dean’s assistants, the heads of the scientific branches and the officials of the quality committees in these branches. The workshop discussed how to improve the scientific department, college and university in the field of quality.
