On Tuesday, 12th. of October, the  University of Basrah - College of Medicine, in cooperation with the Student Activities Department, visited Jaafar Al-Tayyar Hospital of the injured Popular Mobilization, accompanied by the President of University of Basrah; Prof. Dr. Saad Shahin Hamaadi, the Dean of the College of Medicine; Prof. Dr. Mortada Mohammed Salih Al-Musafir, and the Director of the Student Activities Department; Prof. Dr. Qusay Al-Dirawi, college members and students of the sixth year.The aim is to provide moral and logistical support and consolidate bonds of joint cooperation.During the visit, the Horticulture Division at the University of Basrah was assigned to plant the lands and gardens adjacent to the hospital. The president of the university also ordered the maintenance of the cooling equipment. The Hospital manager also provided some halls to the University of Basrah to be used by the Deanship of the College of Medicine for the current and the coming academic years.The President of the University and the Dean of the College of Medicine expressed their thanks and appreciation to the hospital staff for the warm reception.
