On Sunday the 31st. of October 2021, the  University of Basrah-College of Medicine, honored a group of retired employees. The honor included a speech by the former Dean of the College of Medicine; Prof. Dr. Khalil Ismail Al-Hamdi, in whom he reviewed the college’s pride in what they provided during their long years of service, praising the efforts they made, followed by a speech by the Dean College of Medicine; Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer and the  Vice Dean for Administrative Affairs; Assistant Prof. Dr. Qais Kadhim Baqer, where they also praised their efforts in serving the College. The Deanship of the College of Medicine presented an honorary shield to each retired employee.
