The College of Medicine, University of Basrah, held a meeting of the Student Council, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Mortada Muhammad Salih Al-Musafer, Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Kazem Ajlan, Director of the Student Affairs Unit, Assistant Professor Dr. Jassim Muhammad Salman, and representatives of the various stages in the college.  Where important topics related to students and the possibility of establishing a scientific research committee were discussed by the students and under the direct supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Kazem to advance the scientific level of students.
