The first virtual symposium for the Iraq Chapter of the American College of Surgeons was held on the Google Meet platform on Saturday, February 5, 2022. The symposium was chaired by Professor Dr. Mortada Al-Musafir, the head of the Iraq chapter at the American College of Surgeons & dean of the college of Medicine, University of Basrah who gave a scientific lecture on the surgical challenges in ureterostomy, in addition, Assistant professor Dr. Abbas Alhasani from the department of Surgery at College of Medicine, University of Basrah gave a scientific lecture on the treatment of undescended testicles and its advanced laparoscopic surgical management.
