On Thursday, March 17, 2022, the University of Basrah, in cooperation with Ishiq National Model Schools, opened the project of the Iraqi National Olympics Organization for the year 2022 organized by the (Stelink) Foundation under the title of the Sixteenth Iraqi National Olympics. The inauguration was attended by the President of Basrah University, Prof. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Mortada Muhammad Salih Al-Musafir, and a group of important personalities. The inauguration was held on the site of the Faculty of Fine Arts, and the results of scientific projects were presented to students and students of the Turkish schools of Ishiq. The President of Basrah University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, said that the participation of students and students is a success and distinction for him and his family, regardless of the results of the competition. The competition included many age groups between (10-18) years. It was divided according to specializations. Jury committees were prepared for each branch and a reward was given to the top ten by adopting their projects in competitions.
