The Pediatrics Department at the College of Medicine, University of Basrah, under the patronage of the President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Mortada Muhammad Salih Al-Musafir, in cooperation with the Basrah Health Department and with the support of Astra Zeneca Pharmaceutical Company, held a scientific symposium on the updated guidelines for the treatment of Covid 19 at children. The symposium recommended the need to know the latest developments in the disease, methods of diagnosis, treatment, and early diagnosis of acute dyspnea syndrome and multiorgan inflammation syndrome in children to reduce complications, in addition to adhering to the updated guidelines for the treatment of Covid 19 in children approved by the Iraqi Ministry of Health, while staying on follow-up to the latest recommendations The COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Panel (the Panel)
